Designer, printmaker, food‑waste optimist.

Yenny Martin◦ Portrait — photo by Vlasta Loutocká

Yenny grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and studied video production at Bennington College. She went on to earn an M.A. in Art, Education & Community Practice from NYU — and now lives in California with her plucky black dog, Sunny.

Her work moves between the carving bench and the studio: woodblock prints of the produce we overlook, and identity, print and campaign design for the farms and food nonprofits doing the real work.

She also writes at loveuglyfood.com, on reducing food waste and buying less, more thoughtfully.

“I'd rather make one honest, useful thing than ten disposable ones.”
